O'Donnell Absconding From View

Here’s something I’m not overly excited to admit: I used to watch ‘The Rosie O’Donnell Show’ almost everyday. It’s true. While other youngsters fiddled with their Nintendo 64s and traded Pogs, I was watching the queen of nice pine over Tom Cruise and generally be obnoxious. Come’on, my mom promised me gooey chocolate chip cookies, and I was a fat kid. You would have done the same thing. Besides, exercising wouldn’t have helped me maintain my below average physique. Eventually, Rosie moved on, and I began discovering more interesting things, like boobs, but there was always a small part of me that yearned for more of her chubby exploits.

Last year, Rosie surprised everyone by signing on to replace Star Jones on the girly gab-fest ‘The View.’ Along the way, she incensed Donald Trump, perturbed Elizabeth Hasselback, and aroused more controversy than John T. Scopes, pretty impressive for a loud-mouthed mother of three. Sadly, it appears her tumultuous ‘View’ run is coming to an end. Zap2It.com is reporting that O’Donnell will leave the daily talker in June.

This really isn’t a huge surprise; however, it is a big blow to the once fledgling program. Under the chubby direction of the comedienne, ‘The View’ increased its audience by about half a million. That’s probably more people than I have ever seen in my entire life. Her departure announcement has sparked a firestorm of on-set feud rumors; however, I’m pretty sure her early exit has to do with a secret, backdoor Car 54, Where Are You? sequel. I’m sure David Johanson’s alter ego, Buster Poindexter would be interested. It’s going to be HOT HOT HOT!
