Scandal Season 2, Episode 21 - Any Questions Preview Shows The President At The Microphone
SPOILERS if you haven't seen last night's Scandal ("A Woman Scorned")!
Olivia and Fitz are back on! And based on the end of last night's episode, they're all over each other-on, including in the shower. How… romantic? Steamy seems to be the right word to describe this on-again-off-again relationship. And while they were going at it, Mellie was living up to her threat by going public with her husband's indiscretions. There's no turning back now. So what's next?
Based on the preview for "Any Questions," the penultimate episode of the second season, it looks like Fitz will be addressing the press, but maybe not before he and Olivia get yelled at by a livid Cyrus. Everyone in Cyrus' life seems to be involved in the president's impending fall from grace, his husband included. How will the president deal with this and is Cyrus right in saying it's just a matter of time before Mellie names Olivia as the President's mistress?
What's going to happen with Jake? Not only does he know the full extent of Olivia and Fitz's relationship, but he also knows that Charlie knows. And he's willing to sit and watch the President and his girlfriend go at it, which is just creepy. I'm waiting for things to take a dark turn with this guy.
There's also the matter of the mole. Is it Charlie? Huck seems to know who it is and I thought we caught a glimpse of Charlie tied up in the teaser above. We'll have to wait and see, but signs seem to point toward that. Maybe too much so and we're being tricked in anticipation of a big twist lined up for the finale.
Scandal airs Thursdays at 10:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
