Earlier today we learned that two new roles were cast for next season of Spartacus. While it’s exciting to know that Caesar is on the way into this story, for those who are more interested in what’s coming up this Friday night, we have a clip to share!

One of the stories playing out this season is that of Crixus and Naevia. Given what Naevia’s been through, having been (re)enslaved, raped and abused, it’s understandable that she might have intimacy issues. On the bright side, she wants to learn to fight, which may help empower her again. In fact, based on the clip from Friday night’s episode (“Balance”), it looks like it’s having a positive effect on her...

Nothing like a bit of sparring to reignite the spark, right? Hopefully the training will continue to put her in a better place emotionally. She and Crixus definitely deserve a honeymoon period.
