The previews for the upcoming episode of Spartacus: War of the Damned, hinted at more violence ahead, but the latest clip from "Decimation" teases some intense conflict between two of the lead characters. It also follows up a little bit on another clip we shared with you this week. With that in mind, consider yourselves spoiler warned!
In the first clip we showed you from "Decimation," it was revealed that a certain blonde leader managed to infiltrate Spartacus' camp. We see him again in the background of this clip, which reveals some of the fall out of the last episode and the death of Gannicus' friend Attius.
I love Crixus and Naevia, but I'm a little bit team Gannicus on this one, at least based on this clip. Knowing what we do of the situation with Attius and Naevia, and Naevia's recent displays of aggression, it's hard to side with her here. And it looks like she's gotten Crixus involved in the situation. Of course he's going to defend her. Gannicus did kind of shove her, after all, and Crixus certainly has his own history with Gannicus, but I hate to see these two guys fighting. I have a feeling Caesar disagrees though, which makes me wonder if he had anything to do with however this argument got started, or if he's just there to watch.
