Spartacus War of the Damned Spoils Of War Clip Shows A Cleaned Up Caesar
Last week's episode of Spartacus: War of the Damned left off with a fairly major cliffhanger. The latest clip for this Friday's "Spoils of War" gives nothing away about who survives the attack on Spartacus' city, except for Caesar. He survives. If you consider that a spoiler, you're a bit behind on your history! What might be considered a spoiler is that post-attack, Caesar has trimmed down that mess of blonde locks on his head. Now that he no longer has to pose as a rebel, a neater style seems appropriate. When in Rome, right?
More spoilers ahead!
Caesar's hair aside, the clip focuses on another character who managed to survive the mayhem. Again though, this one's not much of a spoiler. Laeta was already out of the city when the Romans attacked. And from this clip, it looks like Caesar's taking a special interest in her.
She's not happy about some of the things Caesar was a part of when he was posing as a slave, but she seems appeased by his explanation, and probably up for that rose water bath.
Not an especially exciting clip, but it does check in with Caesar post-battle, and leaves us wondering if there were any major casualties to that attack. The previously shared clip, which you can watch here, also showed us what's going on among the Romans. Without any post-battle footage to confirm who did make it out of the battle on Spartacus' side, we can only wait and hope that our favorite characters lived to fight another day! We'll find out Friday when "Spoils of War" airs at 9:00 p.m. on Starz.
