The four new screenshots of Bethesda and Splash Damage's Brink show us what gangs and government death squads from a futuristic dystopia do best: kill each other.

Brink is a bit like Left 4 Dead in that it's a multiplayer shooter that you don't actually need to play multiplayer. Missions are 8v8 affairs with one side playing the security team and the other playing the rebels. When not controlled by a player, a gang member/security troop is taken over by the game's A.I.. I suspect it'll be a lot more fun when you're playing with humans, though.

Brink is due in Spring 2010 for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. If you missed the teaser trailer from the summer, you can check it out here.
