Mother's Day is coming up and instead of buying her another basket of miscellaneous crap from Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Nintendo is hoping you'll get her a DS. At the end of this week, they'll begin offering a new green DS bundle.

The green DS Lite will be available starting May 3rd and comes with Personal Trainer: Cooking, an interactive cookbook. PT: Cooking gives detailed instructions for preparing over 245 recipes. The bundle also comes with a purse-like case to carry your new handheld in.

Aside from the case, this could be good gift for a boyfriend/husband you want to train to cook dinner once in a while. If you want us men to learn anything, give us a video game based on it.
