Ever wondered what a Halo movie would look like? The new live-action trailer for Halo 3: ODST should give you a pretty good idea.

The video basically follows the life of an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, the elite type of soldiers that star in ODST. It's a bit slow at parts but the battle scene in the middle looked pretty incredible. It's a very seamless blend of live action with CGI effects. Doesn't look cartoonish like some films of that nature sometimes do.

Halo 3: ODST will be released on September 22nd. Microsoft has put any film plans on hold until they release ODST and Halo: Reach, the latter of which arrives next year.
