What Henry Cavill Gave As Gifts To The Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice Crew

Making movies is hard work that takes a long, long time - and that's especially true for major blockbusters like Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The film was in production for more than half of the year in 2014, with the cast and crew working side by side to make the best feature they could. As a result, it should be no surprise that a bond was created between everyone on the project, and apparently that bond was sealed with a special coin that star Henry Cavill had made for members of the crew.

This cool bit of trivia about the Batman v Superman production by the Twitter account Filming In Chicago, which has posted images of the coin that was given to them by a friend. It's hard to tell if there were multiple kinds of coins made, or if each one was double sided, but the coins featured engravings of the Superman and Batman logos as well as the name of the film and the production dates. And here is the one with the Dark Knight's symbol:

You'll notice that these coins are very specific to the making of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice not just because of the words, but also because of the versions of the logos that Henry Cavill included. You'll notice that they are identical to the symbols found on the teaser poster that was released last year:

Sadly, while Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has now been in post-production for more than a full month, we still have a very long time to wait before the movie actually comes out on March 25, 2016. That being said, hopefully it won't be too much longer before we get our first look at some footage.
