Watch One Direction Recreate Childhood Photographs In Brand New Video
By Mack Rawden 1 year ago
Over the past few years, people on the Internet have gotten excited about recreating childhood photographs. Since then, the trend has popped up in plenty of places, but thanks to One Direction, the cute practice is about to get a whole lot more exposure.
The popular boy band’s new video for the single “Story Of My Life” depicts the guys in a dark room checking out nostalgic photographs and memories from their younger days. Each scene starts with one of the cute little still life pictures and then transformers into a moving and breathing recreation updated to modern times. From mothers to siblings, tons of the loved ones get in on the act, creating an end result that was released this morning and somehow already has almost five hundred thousand likes. That’s right. Not views. Likes. In less than a day.
If ever a testament to One Direction’s absurd popularity was needed, I would say this fanatical viewing more than qualifies. They’re obviously the biggest boy band in the world, but more importantly, they’re one of the most popular music acts in the world, and at this point, that enthusiasm shows no signs of slowing down.
As for the video itself, I’m pretty on board. It’s got a nice inventive concept, and it’s nice to see the guys open up a little bit. What do you think? Do you like the footage? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
