Fans of Battlestar Galactica, and more specifically Jamie Bamber, might want to start watching Body of Proof if they aren’t already. Word is, the former BSG star is set to appear in multiple episodes of the ABC drama series. Details (spoilers!) on his role ahead!

Jamie Bamber is among the former Battlestar Galactica veterans who has yet to find a permanent home on television stateside since the Syfy series wrapped up in 2009. Though, to be fair, Bamber has been busy on his side of the pond with a starring role in Law & Order: U.K., which airs on the UK’s ITV. While it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing him in a starring role in the U.S. anytime soon, he is set to make an appearance in ABC’s Body of Proof.

According to TV Line, Bamber is set to play Scott Decker, a sexy, blue-collar man who’s a love interest for Dana Delany’s character. He’s set to appear in three episodes of the series. Fans will see him at some point late next month.

If you want to see him sooner, you can check him out when he guest stars on House on November 7th, playing a “patient with a big secret.” After last night’s episode, which featured Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller as the patient du jour, I’m beginning to work on a theory that House is theming some of the dreamiest male leads of TV-past this season. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence (a good one).
