South Park Season 16 Returns For Its Second Half Later This Month
A recent viewing of the documentary The Making of South Park: 6 Days to Air has had me craving new episodes of the long-running animated comedy series, South Park. Fortunately, Comedy Central announced today that they've set a date for the show's return for the second half of its sixteenth season. And it's just a couple of weeks away!
We don't have a photo or a video to show you from the upcoming episode. We don't even have an episode title, come to think of it. And after watching the writers scramble to hash out a concept for an episode in the 6 Days to Air documentary, it might be fair to question whether the writers do either. But that's ok. Trey Parker, Matt Stone and their other writers can make funny South Park magic in six days, so I'm sure whatever they have planned (or will have planned) for the Season 16 mid-season premiere will be great. In the meantime, we do have a return date!
Comedy Central announced today that all new episodes of South Park will begin airing Wednesday, September 26 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Usual time, usual place, and it's set to return in just a few weeks. There are seven episodes remaining in Season 16.
This who want to get caught up on Season 16's first half, or those who need something to tide them over between now and September 26 can find the episodes on SouthParkStudios.com.
