A Look At The Walking Dead's 18 Miles Out, Good Ratings News For Triggerfinger

While last Sunday night’s episode of The Walking Dead didn’t quite hit the same numbers of it’s mid-season premiere episode “Nebraska,” the zombie-drama is still going strong. To celebrate, we have a few photos from next Sunday night’s episode, titled “18 Miles Out.”

Vague spoilers ahead!

First, the good news, according to EW, The Walking Dead’s “Triggerfinger” aired to an audience of 6.9 million viewers. When factoring in the later airing of the episode, 8.5 million viewers tuned in on Sunday night to watch the episode, which had Rick, Glenn and Hershel facing off against some other survivors. Those numbers are down from “Nebraska” but it’s still a good showing for the series.

If you caught the preview for “18 Miles Out,” then you know a showdown between Rick and Shane may be in the cards for this Sunday night. The two are featured in two of the photos below. The situation isn’t looking good.

Shane's gun is out but Rick's is holstered. Any theories as to why Rick seems to have taken an interest in that walker? Where exactly are they?

And in this one, Rick looks substantially beat up, especially by comparison to the previous two photos. Shane's doing? Or did the two encounter some walkers?
