Like OMG! I Love You, Beth Cooper Is Coming To DVD

Were you a geek in high school? Did you have a huge crush on the most popular girl in school? Do you regret never doing anything about it? Well, I Love You, Beth Cooper might be for you. On November 3rd you can watch Paul Rust try to win over Hayden Panettiere when Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment releases I Love You, Beth Cooper on DVD and Blu-ray.

Denis Cooverman (Rust) is a major nerd and, naturally, the high school valedictorian. It isn’t until he’s giving a speech at graduation that he gets up the nerve to announce that he loves his classmate, Beth Cooper (Panettiere). That night, Denis’ parents leave him home alone with his best friend, Rich (Jack Carpenter), so the guys can throw a graduation party. The party is a complete disaster, but then Beth shows up at Denis’ door and whisks them out of the empty house to show them what a real night out is like.

Both the DVD and BD come with a decent selection of bonus material. There’s an alternate ending, four deleted scenes, “I Love You, Larry Doyle,” a behind-the-scenes featurette with the cast, a song improvised by Rust called “Peanut Butter Toast,” and two FOX Movie Channel Presents in Character pieces, one with Panettiere and the other with Rust.

Be aware, I Love You, Beth Cooper is a comedy for teens only. Spending the $27.87 on the DVD or the $39.99 on the BD will be a complete waste unless you’re still in high school, and that's putting it lightly.
