If there's any movie guaranteed to sell out faster than any other this summer, it's The Dark Knight Rises. And if you're as excited about this movie as most of us are, you should already have July 20 marked off on your calendar, and your friends ready to click the "buy" button online the moment the tickets go on sale. Now, finally, that moment is here. Tickets for The Dark Knight Rises, in IMAX and regular screens, and including midnight screenings--are now for sale at Fandango, and you'd better believe they're going to go quick. Get over there!

Even if your local theater hasn't totally sold out yet, odds are you'll have plenty of company by the time July 19 finally rolls around. After all, The Dark Knight set all kinds of box office records when it opened in 2008, first of all setting a new midnight screenings record, then the record for opening day, and finally notching what was then the biggest opening weekend of all time. All of those records have since been broken, mostly by the Harry Potter and Twilights of the world, but notably by The Avengers, which made serious history last month with its $200 million opening weekend. All of that puts more pressure on The Dark Knight Rises to set the bar even higher, and far from just dedicated Batman and DC Comics fans who want their guy to hold the record, a lot of people will be out there helping The Dark Knight Rises turn plenty of heads.

So get those tickets booked, and then join us over the next few weeks as we count down to what could easily be the summer's biggest movie.
