Grown-Ups Join Cast Of Beezus And Ramona

Ginnifer Goodwin is such a cutie pie of the moment that of course a little girl would pick her as her favorite person in the world. Goodwin will be playing just that character in Ramona and Beezus, a movie based on Beverly Cleary's classic series of children's books. Goodwin will play Ramona's beloved Aunt Bea, with Bridget Moynahan and John Corbett signing on to play the parents of the titular sisters.

THR isn't reporting which children will be playing Ramona and Beezus, but presumably director Elizabeth Allen is actively seeking them.

But in the meantime, fun Sex and the City fact! In the episodes when Carrie was having an affair with Big, Moynahan played Big's jilted wife Natasha, while Corbett was Carrie's boyfriend Aidan. Also! In the 2001 movie Serendipity, they were the respective significant others for John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale, the main characters who eventually got together. So Moynahan and Corbett have spent their careers keeping the main couple apart, and now they'll finally get a shot at romance themselves. And it already comes with two kids-- man, things sure do move fast in the world of Hollywood casting.
