The Dragonball Z movie has another cast member. HR says Jamie Chung has joined the cast alongside already in Justin Chatwin and James Marster.
The casting details we got our hands on a few weeks ago told us they were looking for an attractive, Asian, tomboy type. Jamie is definitely attractive and Asian, I guess if they give her a bob or something she can pull of tomboy.
Chi Chi is lifelong love interest of Dragonball hero Goku (Chatwin), and has grown up with him. She has studied martial arts and has always suspected that Goku possesses talents that are unusual and extraordinary. After Goku embarks on his journey to redeem his grandfather’s death, Chi Chi meets up with Goku and his crew at a tournament of champions where their mutual attraction finally heats up during a training session.
The movie itself is about a bunch of save the Earth mumbo jumbo, in which adult humanoid Goku is sent to destroy the planet, changes his mind, and decides to collect Dragon Balls and keep them out of the hands of Aliens. Personally, I feel bad for the dragons who will now be unable to have any more dragon babies, and will now be forced to roar in falsetto.
