Steven Seagal may be fat, old, and irrelevant but the man is planning a comeback! Hopefully, he’s also planning a high-intensity weight loss program.
Talking to MTV he says, “We would like to make Under Siege 3, and there are offers and we’re looking at them.” It’s not surprising that he’d want to make Under Siege 3, after all what else does he have to do. What is surprising is that there are offers. Come on, those offers have to be from direct-to-dvd distributors, don’t they?
Yet a direct-to-dvd distributor probably wouldn’t be able to handle the kind of budget necessary to send Steven Seagal into space. That it seems, is what he’s angling for with the new Under Siege sequel. He says, “I personally want it to be something more, you know, modern. In other words I wouldn’t mind if it was about, something more mystical or something that may be extraterrestrial in nature. Some real government top secrets instead of just, you know, the typical.” Who wouldn’t want to see Steven Seagal punch an alien? They’ve got it coming, we’ve let them rape our farmers for far too long.
