Despite having a loyal fan base, Chuck is a show that has perpetually been on the bubble for years, audiences crossing their fingers at the end of each season hoping that they will get at least a few more episodes. But while the show has been renewed for a fifth season, it will prove to be the last meaning that its stars are going to have to start looking elsewhere for employment - and that's exactly what Yvonne Strahovski is doing.
According to THR, the Australian actress has joined Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand in My Mother's Curse. Directed by Anne Fletcher, the film is described as a dramedy about an inventor (Rogen) who drives across the country with his mother (Streisand) to try and sell his new invention. Along the way, Rogen bumps into his high school sweetheart, who will be played by Strahovski.
Strahovski's agent is probably getting set to go into overdrive. While she still has to film the final season of Chuck, there's no better time to plan for the future than the present, and with the way that films are made nowadays, she could sign on to a project now and not have to be on set until 2013. This won't be the last you hear about her.
