Post Miscarriage Leah Messer Enrolls Twins In Beauty Pageant

Leah Messer has had a tumultuous few weeks, but it seems like the Teen Mom 2 star is bouncing back. After suffering a miscarriage after weeks of cramps that eventually led to losing the pregnancy, the mom of two is refocusing her energies on her two year-old twin bundles of joy.

Nineteen year-old Messer has decided twins Aliannah and Aleeah are the perfect type of young ladies to enroll into a beauty pageant. The big date for the event is set for Feb. 11, and the little bundles of joy will earn a trophy just for competing. However, if either of them earn higher titles like “Mini Supreme” or “Queen” they will earn much bigger trophies. Proceeds from the event will go to St. Jude’s, and of course, unlike some beauty pageants, the “Beauties and Beaus Pageantry” is simply meant “to build self-esteem.” According to Hollybaby, MTV will be on hand to film the event; so, at some point we should all be privy to the shenanigans of tiny toddler pageants with Teen Mom 2 contestants.

It seems rather soon post-pregnancy to jump into a bump of activities that require a lot of trouble and attention; however, people handle sad life fluctuations differently. If anything, pouring her energies into a pageant, self-esteem builder or no, should keep Messer’s mind off of her recent troubles, for a little while. Hopefully, the MTV reality star will be able to settle back down to her normal existence of raising twin toddlers and hanging out on television. After all, there's no priorities more important in a mother's life than her children.
