Among the three new series set to make its debut this Monday on MTV is Is She Really Going Out With Him? In a nutshell, this unscripted show follows hot girls who date douchebags and questions whether or not they’re willing to stay with them despite their douchebaggery.

Below is MTV’s description for the series, which will air following DJ & the For weekdays on MTV starting Monday, June 15th (5:30 PM ET/PT):

“Inspired by the popular website Hot Chicks with Douchebags, Is She Really Going Out With Him? is a hilarious and compelling docu-format show that aims to tear down the mystery behind pop culture's latest unexplainable phenomenon: beautiful and innocent young sweethearts who fall for self-absorbed, overly-tanned, tattoo covered douchebags.

In each episode of Is She Really Going Out With Him? we'll closely examine one couple as our hot chick eventually leads herself towards making a fateful decision... Will she stay with her douchebag bf or move on to a better man. Tune-in Monday through Thursday at 5:30pm.

I want to roll my eyes at the whole concept of this show but even I’m guilty of browsing that Hot Chicks with Douchbags site, so I have to say, it could be a brilliant move on MTV’s part to try to turn the premise of that site into a TV show. I suppose it’ll all depend on the people they get to star in each episode. Part of me questions why any hot chicks or their douchy boyfriends would participate in something like this, but given the nature of the show, I’m guessing the subjects of such a series would be exactly the types of people who would be on a show like this… if that makes any sense.
