Greenwalt No Longer With CBS's Moonlight

If CBS’s upcoming new series ‘Moonlight’ had anything going for it, it was that the vampire-centered show had former ‘Angel’ cocreator, David Greenwalt on board. This added to recent cast addition of ‘Veronica Mars’ star Jason Dohring gave many of us two reasons to consider checking out this series when it premieres this fall.

Kristin Veitch reported on her E! Online blog that Greenwalt is no longer going to be a part of ‘Moonlight.’ Greenwalt is most known for cocreating the ‘Buffy’ spin-off series, ‘Angel.’ As ‘Moonlight’ is set to center on a vampire detective, many thought Greenwalt would be a perfect fit for the show. To be honest, Greenwalt’s involvement (added to my secret crush on Jason Dohring) was the only reason I had any interest in the series to begin with.

Veitch didn’t comment on why Greenwalt’s off the project but she did mention the fact that no one’s seen anything more than a trailer for the show.

Below is the trailer for ‘Moonlight.’
