Person Of Interest To Watch Over Audiences On Blu-Ray In September

Freshman breakout drama Person of Interest completely stole the show on CBS Thursday nights, eventually bumping reigning procedural king The Mentalist to Sundays next season. The show produced 23 high-octane episodes during Season 1, led by a cast featuring The Count of Monte Cristo's Jim Caviezel, Lost’s Michael Emerson, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’s Taraji P. Henson. With so many big names on board it is easy to see how the show initially piqued people’s interest, but it is the writing, pace, and the whole look of the show that has kept fans coming back for more.

If you missed the show during Season 1 you are probably in the minority, but you won’t have to wait much longer to rectify the situation. On September 4th, two men will begin fighting violent crimes in New York City on Blu-Ray and DVD. Warner Home Entertainment is putting together a jam-packed set for The Complete First Season, which follows two men using a complicated computer surveillance system to determine when people are in trouble and need their help. Despite their good intentions, John Reese (Caviezel) and his buddy, Harold Finch (Emerson), are often in trouble with varying law officers and groups. J.J. Abrams and Jonathan Nolan are also involved with the program and, in their true over-the-top style, the Blu-Ray/DVD/Ultraviolet Digital Copy Combo pack will actually come with ten discs. Several special features will also accompany the set.
