So far, Eidos have impressed the heck out of a lot of people with their latest Batman game. It may not be based on the movie by the visionary director, Christopher Nolan, but it does an amazing job of giving the Batman universe a creative and original look. Simply put, this is one awesome trailer. Most of what is shown off is actual gameplay footage, which is what makes the following video leaving many gamers awe-struck and stoked. I still have my reservations about the depth of the game. However, based on what we’re shown it looks as if the game borrows a lot of elements from Splinter Cell.

What’s more is that Batman: Arkham Asylum appears to mix gameplay that you might find in Spider-Man games with the stealth and combat from Metal Gear or Splinter Cell.
