New players and old players of GameKiss' action-MMORPG, Nida Online, can enjoy a few new updates and upgrades to the free-to-play MMORPG, including the much desired option to use WASD.

According to NIDA’s GM, Joey…

“Moving characters using the WASD keys is the system which many users have desired. I believe many users will now enjoy the game easier and have more fun through this update,”

But that’s not all, the developers literally had to rewrite the code from scratch and completely overhaul the navigation system to accommodate the new control scheme. That sounds taxing just thinking about it.

Joey went on to explain that…

Developers considered that users would find the previous movement inconvenient and rewrote the navigation related game code from scratch as if it were a new game. Though it was an immense task, the game developers will be satisfied if users find the game user-friendlier.

Hopefully the players like the new controls. In addition to the controls…level 80+ players can now easily defeat monsters; a new buff system for beginners has been implemented and a holiday event is currently taking place up through Christmas.
