Codemasters recently announced that a PC demo of the first-person shooter, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, has now become available featuring a full mission that can be played in single-player or four-player co-op modes. If you weren't sure about this game before, there's nothing wrong with getting in a little play time with a demo to see if it's worth your hard-earned cash.
According to the press release, regarding the PC demo…
As part of a Special Forces squad inserting behind Chinese PLA lines, players must eliminate a strategically critical radar station and missile sites to allow the USS Iwo Jima, carrying the main USMC battalion, to safely approach the island of Skira.
The game features advanced tactical A.I., vehicular operation, destructible environments, and realistic-inspired combat. You could say it’s a less action-packed version of Modern Warfare 2 yet a more dynamic version of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter.
In addition to the PC demo becoming available a few new Operation Flashpoint items for the XBL avatars have also become available. You can check out the avatar items at the XBL Marketplace.
