He wrote the original videogame adaptation, which most reasonable people panned while die hard fans defend it to the death as some sort of misunderstood masterpiece. I haven’t seen it, but since it’s a videogame adaptation I think I’m safe in assuming it’s shit… in which case good decision Rog.

The news comes from ShockTillYouDrop, where they scored an interview with Avary. He told them, “I'm not gonna do Silent Hill 2.” Now here’s the but, “If Christophe's not gonna do it, I'm not...” Don’t you love Hollywood double speak? He’s not doing it… but he hasn’t completely closed the door on it.

It’s unlikely Gans will do it, and that makes it even less likely that Avary will do it. Actually, I find it pretty unlikely that the movie will happen at all so let’s just forget about the whole thing. Adios Silent Hill 2. We never knew ye.
