Every major studio worth their salt is sending out preview kits to get internet news nannies like myself all hot and bothered about what they’ve got coming up in 2005. Warner Brothers has just sent out theirs, and included were the first couple of official pics from the next Harry Potter movie, Goblet of Fire.

A year ago I wouldn’t have given two shits, but Cuaron sold me on the property with his fantastic take, even though far too many pre-existing Harry Potter fans rejected it in favor of literal translated mediocrity like the stuff served up by Columbus. Hopefully Harry Potter 4 director Mike Newell isn’t listening to any of you.

So here’s the first two pics from Goblet of Fire, showcasing young Mr. Potter’s new love of styling gel and Daniel Radcliffe’s newfound love of all things Austin Powers. Someone give that kid a male symbol.
