Summer 2006 Preview: Weinstein![]()
The Weinstein Company hasn't even been in existance a year yet, but Bob and Harvey's new Indie distributor is already rolling out a small scale blockbuster lineup. Partnered up with Dimension and MGM, they probably won't have many $100 million movies, but then with the low budget productions they're pushing they don't have to.
For Weinstein it's a summer of Kevin Smith, and the fanboy favorite returns to the world that made him famous with a sequel to Clerks. Around that they'll release a few horror movies and videogame to movie translations. Thank god for Kevin. To find out exactly what The Weinstein Company, MGM, and Dimension Films have in store for you, read CB's Summer 2006 Weinstein Preview below.
