Since the turn of the millennium, Woody Allen has disappointed me more than almost any other filmmaker. Other than 2005’s Match Point, he’s turned out one miserable failure after another. Not just failures from a box office standpoint, but truly bad movies. But he hasn’t given up, yet. Cassandra’s Dream, with Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell, will be out around the beginning of next year and his Barcelona movie is in post-production.

Since calling something Woody Allen’s Barcelona Movie is a bit cumbersome, Woody has given it the name Vicky Cristina Barcelona, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Now that I look at it, it’s really not much less cumbersome. Hopefully the movie won’t be cumbersome to sit through. That is, hopefully it won’t be like Curse of the Jade Scorpion.
