BREAKING MOVIE NEWS
On February 1st Warm Bodies, the new film by director Jonathan Levine, will arrive in theaters to tell the story of two star-crossed lovers on either side of the zombie apocalypse. It's an interesting take on the classic William Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet, but strangely it's not the only one that will be coming out this year. On March 15th writer/director Juan Diego Solanas' Upside Down will come out and tell the story of two star-crossed lovers separated by gravity.
Remember that scene in Inception when Ellen Page is figuring out what she can do in dreams and takes the entire city and flips it on top of itself? Well, what if the world was actually like that? What if it had a fully diverse population living their everyday lives, just like we do? Most importantly, though, what if the people in the top world hate the people in the bottom world, and vice versa?
Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst make an awkward couple. I’m a fan of Across the Universe and even though 21 isn’t a quality film, Sturgess still shows he’s harboring major potential. On the other hand, Dunst is still as washed out as when she sported Mary Jane’s red locks in the Spider-Man movies.
