We All Go A Little Mad Sometimes, A&E's Bates Motel Goes Straight To Series
A&E announced they won't bother going through the pilot process with Bates Motel and instead opted to move ahead with a 10 episode order. The network first announced the prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's seminal slasher Psycho at the beginning of the year and with Lost's Carlton Cuse and Friday Night Light's Kelly Ehrin on board, the show is now going straight to series.

The films have all been digitally restored and remastered in 1080p, with DTS-HD Master Audio.
