The title's been changed. The premiere date is set. In just a couple of months, NBC will premiere Deception, their new drama that - based on the latest promo, titled "Young, Beautiful… and Dead" - looks like it's playing heavy on the drama.
Deception stars Meagan Good as Detective Joanna Locasto, a woman who returns to visit the wealthy family of her now-deceased childhood friend Vivian Bowers. After Vivian died of a supposed drug overdose at the age of 32, Joanna returns to the place where she grew up for the funeral and begins to uncover secrets and clues about Vivian's death and what was going on in her life before she met her demise. That's just the start of the drama. As you'll see in the promo, there's much more to the story about to unfold…
The 22-second spot zaps through a number of quick glimpses of the series, including the sight of Vivian's dead body, some kissing moments, and a lot of suspicious looks. We also get a look at some of the cast, which includes Victor Garber, Tate Donovan, Katherine LaNasa and Ella Rae Peck.
Deception premieres January 7 at 10:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
