Party Down Reunion Clip From Childrens Hospital

I can't believe I almost let a whole week go by and I didn't share this clip. One of the funniest shows of the last few years was Starz' Party Down. Notice that I had to say "was" because the show, like so many other comedic gems who will not be named, was cancelled after only two seasons. Lucky for us, the few of us that tuned in and adored the series that is, there was a brief Party Down reunion on last week's Childrens Hospital.
Childrens Hospital, a satirical spin on the medical drama, began as a web series from creator, writer, director, star, obvious conceited person and comedian Rob Corddry and quickly turned into a weekly show on the Adult Swim network. To be completely honest with you, I find the show funny but it's a little too far for my tastes. I don't know, maybe it's because clowns creep me out and Rob Corddry's Dr. Downs is terrifying. The show has a stellar cast of comedians as well as a rotating tie-rack of guest stars, hence the Party Down reunion in an episode entitled, uh, 'Party Down.'
As we reported, Lizzy Caplan, Martin Starr and Ryan Hansen all agreed to appear for the bit, and those that watch the show regularly know that Ken Marino and Megan Mullally have parts in both shows, so they were kind of already there. Lazy, really. All that was missing was Adam Scott's Henry, maybe we can assume his acting career is back on track (Adam Scott's sure is with his recurring role on Parks and Recreation). Watch the brief but fitting appearance where each cast member gets a quick one-liner and we get to say goodbye. I'll miss you Ron.
Oh yeah, what's up with the baby blue bow-ties? Sadly, new episodes of Party Down can not be seen, but to cure that bout of depression, Children's Hospital still airs on Adult Swim on Thursdays.
