Day Watch Comes To DVD Unrated
You’ve seen Night Watch, the vampire movie about a supernatural battle between the forces of day and night. Now Fox Home Entertainment is bringing you the next chapter in the Russian trilogy of movies, Day Watch. Not only is the movie coming to DVD on October 30th, but the movie will be released in an unrated edition that includes new material not shown in theaters.
For those foreign film connoisseurs that prefer the original version of a film, Day Watch will be released on DVD in the original Russian language version of the film, subtitled, as well as an English dubbed version for those who don’t want to have to “read their movie.” Fox is also advertising the disc will include a commentary by director Timur Bekmambetov, a making-of featurette, an American trailer, and quite a few trailers and TV spots from the Russian ad campaign.
The studio is also releasing a Night Watch / Day Watch DVD two pack on October 30th, but fans should probably hold out and wait for the trilogy pack when the third movie comes to DVD, most likely next year.
