September 25th Is Next For DVD
While some have been better than others, I have yet to see a Phillip K. Dick story adapted for the screen that I didn’t enjoy. That’s why I was bummed to miss Nicolas Cage in Next earlier this year. The movie stars Cage as a man who can see briefly into his own future – a power others would love to exploit. Thankfully, the future isn’t that far away as Next comes to DVD and HD DVD on September 25th, giving everyone a chance to see Cage’s latest.
Although the title is coming to both standard and high-def formats, the content isn’t very thick here. Four featurettes are about all the disc has to offer. The nice thing is that the bonus material is also in high definition for those who pick up the HD DVD version of Next. It’s not much, but at least it’s something.
Here’s a look at the content announced by Paramount:
- Making the Best Next Thing
- Visualizing the Next Move
- The Next "Grand Idea"
- Two Minutes in the Future with Jessica Biel
