Fez Becomes A PartyBuddy

Wilmer Valderrama is set to be the next big, break-out star from “That 70’s Show”. Good timing too, since he’s just run out of show to be on.

He’s already slated to star as “Ponch” in the upcoming big screen version of CHiPs, but now The Hollywood Reporter says he’s got a second starring vehicle on the horizon. The movie is PartyBuddys, and it’s been optioned by Universal Pictures specifically to be developed as a project for him.

The movie will be based on the real life stories of Jason Roefaro and James King, founders of the New York company called PartyBuddys which offers clients a one night free pass into the fast lifestyle of a celebrity for a single night. Sounds expensive. Wilmer, who already has a lot of real life experience partying in the world of the VIP, will presumably play one of the Buddys.

In addition to that rumored role in CHiPs, Wilmer next appears in Richard Linklater’s Fast Food Nation, and then in the film Unaccompanied Minors.
