First Behind-The-Scenes Images From George Lucas' Red Tails

We've been hearing sporadic news for the past year or so about the George Lucas-produced project Red Tails, but now that FGV Schmidle, the company providing gear to the production, has posted images from the film, we're getting our first look at what the Indiana Jones producer is doing with his epic shit tons of not-so-hard-earned cash.

These images mostly exist for the purpose of showing off FGV's inventory of gear, but you still get a glimpse of the sort of WWII jets we're going to see in the film. Red Tails follows the first squadron of black fighter pilots during the second world war and stars Iron Man drop-out Terrence Howard, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Breaking Bad superstar Bryan Cranston.

Although Lucas is producing, the film is being piloted by long-time second unit director Anthony Hemingway who has directed episodes of such shows as True Blood, Treme, Heroes and many more.

That these images are out now is a pretty good indicator that we're going to start seeing a lot more from this as the summer rolls on. Head over to the FGV Schmidle website to see the full gallery and scope out a few of the good ones below including a nice look at an enlarged, Kenny Rogers-esque George Lucas.
