January sucks for movies. It's a notorious dumping ground that studios use when they don't have a lot of faith in a project's marketability and/or quality. It's for that very reason that come January 20th you should have nothing better to do than go see Steven Soderbergh's Haywire. As I mentioned in my review from last year's AFI Fest, the film's plot is super thin and way overdone, but Gina Carano kicks so much ass that by the end of it you just don't care and you find yourself standing and clapping at your seat. I can just about guarantee that no other feature this month will be as good as Haywire, and now we have a new trailer for the title, courtesy of Crave.

Check it out below.

The plot centers on Mallory Kane (Carano), a black ops agent who is set up by her handler (Ewan McGregor). Surviving the attack, she goes on a mission of revenge, not only to find out why she was set up, but to punish the people responsible. The film co-stars Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas, Channing Tatum, Michael Douglas, Michael Angarano and Bill Paxton.
