Alicia Keyes and Jack White have teamed up to write and perform the first ever Bond theme song duet for Quantum of Solace. The song, which will no doubt play in front of the opening credits while the shapes of vaguely naked women parade around, is called “Another Way to Die”… and it’s already online.
It’s also kind of weird, at least in this context. I am however, assured by CB’s music editor Glen Boyd that it’s good. When it comes to music, he knows a lot more about these things than me. Of course it’s not really meant to be heard in this context. It’s meant to be heard in a cool movie theater with the aforementioned naked women assaulting your eyes.
