Currently filming in Romania is the 5th film in the Child's Play series, Seed of Chucky. Brad Dourif returns as the voice of Charles Lee Ray (Chucky) and by his side is his "Bride" Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly). Sounds pretty reasonable so far, right? Well here's where the confusion lays.....the rest of the cast. Tilly is reported to have duel roles, as well as Tiffany she'll play......herself. LOTR's Billy Boyd will voice the title character......Glen. Hannah Spearritt(Agent Cody Banks 2) will play Joan, a young woman trying to break into show business. Joining the ranks of LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, and Kelly Rowland....Redman has signed on to play an ex-rapper turned film director. And finally, the most out of nowhere casting thus far....indie film guru John Waters will portray an insensitive paparazzi photographer.
I have absolutely no idea what to make of this, I'm stunned.
Seed of Chucky will hit theatres sometime in 2005.
