Red Dawn Remake Images: The Chinese Take Over The Set

Want to visit the set of the Red Dawn remake? I can’t help you get there physically, but these new photographs from RedDawn2010 will make you feel like you’re actually on the set. The site dubs itself ‘your news source for the 2010 remake’ and has all of the details on the cast and activity on the set.

The film is a remake of John Milius’ 1984 war film during which the United States is invaded by Soviet Union. The main characters are a group of high school students called the Wolverines who fight the attackers using guerrilla warfare. The big difference between the original film and the remake is the swapping of the Chinese for the Soviet Union. Speaking of the Chinese, images of the propaganda posters they hang around town after the invasion are the most alluring of the bunch.

The cast also makes their way into a handful of the pictures. Included are a few nice shots of Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck and Connor Cruise. If the site is on top of things as it seems, I’m sure it won’t be long until we see some pictures of Josh Hutcherson, Isabel Lucas, Adrianna Palicki and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as well. We've posted just a couple of samples below, but head over to RedDawn2010.com to check out their extensive coverage.
