SXSW Announces 2008 Lineup

Austin’s South By Southwest Film Festival announced their Film lineup for this year’s fest, which starts in under a month and for which I really need to get off my butt and set up a hotel room. Sleeping on the street isn’t fun.

Some of the biggest films on the list are movies that were also shown at Sundance a few weeks ago. But that’s alright, the all also happen to be the movies I wasn’t able to catch while I was in Park City. Thanks SXSW for giving me a second chance at Baghead.

There’s no shortage of SXSW exclusives though either. Harold and Kumar Go To Guantanamo Bay will get it’s debut at the Paramount in Austin, as will the new Jason Siegel/Jonah Hill comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I think it’s safe to assume that a lot of weed will be smoked on March 7th.

Below is the full list of everything showing this year at SXSW. If you’re going, drop me a line so I know who to avoid. I’ll see you down on Congress.
