If you live in the heartland and don't want to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 when it opens on July 15, you have another, distinctly more political option in front of you. Deadline reports that AMC Theaters will be the exclusive exhibitor for The Undefeated, the documentary/biopic/pep rally about possible 2012 Presidential candidate and general lightning rod Sarah Palin. Interestingly, none of the cities listed are in those key early states of Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. Here's where you'll be able to see the film on July 15 if you so choose:

Phoenix, AZOrange County, CADenver, COOrlando, FLAtlanta, GAIndianapolis, INKansas City, KS Oklahoma City, OKDallas, TXHouston, TX

If you don't live in any of those cities, never fear-- the public will also be able to go online and vote for the movie to come to their town. I'm not terribly concerned I'll have to deal with The Undefeated-- an odd title, given that Palin in fact lost her bid to become Vice President-- coming to a theater near me in Brooklyn. But those of you in these cities or in particularly red states, prepare yourself for the Tea Party and other Palin fanatics to bring politics to your theater on the same day you're just trying to watch Harry Potter defend Hogwarts. Regardless of your political leanings, that's kind of frustrating, no?
