We here at Cinema Blend are very much enjoying the recently released James Bond theme performed by Adele for the upcoming Skyfall. Completely different than the tracks recorded by Jack White and Alicia Keys, and Chris Cornell for Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale, respectively, the new track has a beautiful, soulful sound that reminded us of Shirley Bassey tracks for films like Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, and Moonraker. But what's most important is that the theme match-up well with the film its attached to, and judging by the new Skyfall trailer they can say mission accomplished.

It's hard to tell if this is an official new trailer or simply a new edit put together by the crew over at IGN (there isn't any new footage to speak of), but regardless it's a great looking trailer with a great song played over it. Watch it below!

Let's also sneak in the fact that it is still currently James Bond day here in the States, celebrating 50 years since Dr. No's London premiere, so slap on a tux and have a vodka martini!

Skyfall, featuring Daniel Craig as 007 for the third time, has the super spy struggling when a dark secret from M's past comes back to haunt her. Meanwhile MI6 comes under attack and it comes to Bond to stop it. The film's all star cast also includes Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace and Ben Whishaw. Look for James Bond in theaters on November 9th and stop by our Blend Film Database for a ton of trailers, behind the scenes videos, stills and more.
