UPDATE: Kate Beckinsale, Milla Jovovich And Sofia Vergara Attached To Danger Girl?

UPDATE: The Playlist has contacted the actresses' representatives and they have debunked this story as rumor, saying that none of them are attached to the project. Guess someone's pipe dreams accidentally started leaking.

It's funny that both Kate Beckinsale and Milla Jovovich have built very similar careers. Both are married to action directors (Len Wiseman and Paul W.S. Anderson, respectively) and both have worked with their hubby filmmakers to create franchises with at least four films starring the actresses as strong, ass-kicking protagonists (Underworld and Resident Evil). The two have never starred in a film together, but according to Latino Review that may soon change.

The site reports that Beckinsale, Jovovich and Sofia Vergara are now attached to play the three lead characters in Danger Girl, an adaptation of the J. Scott Campbell/Andy Hartnell comic series. Described as a mix of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Kill Bill and Mission: Impossible, the plot centers on a young adventurer who joins a spy agency that travels the world searching for three powerful relics. Their major form of opposition is the Hammer Empire, also known as the Fourth Reich. The group is led by a former British Secret Service Agent named Deuce, who formed the spy organization (and was modeled after Sean Connery). The actresses would presumably be playing the roles of Natalia Kassle, Sydney Savage and Abbey Chase, though the report doesn't say which actress will play which part.

The comic series isn't so much known for the adventures the Danger Girls go on as much as it's known for it's salacious illustrations. The female characters are all drawn with insane curves and typically wear bikinis, tight tank-tops or leather catsuits. For example:

What I'm trying to say is, this movie will not have a problem attracting a male audience
