If you're like me then you've been listening to the Karen O/Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" for the last week and a half. Though the song was first heard in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo teaser trailer that came out all the way back in May, people that pre-ordered the soundtrack back on December 1st were given a free download of the song on iTunes (if you weren't one of those people, the full album is now available so go buy it!). So what's the only way to make a great song even better? Give it a great music video too!
A clip for the "Immigrant Song" covered has arrived online (via The Film Stage) and while we can't seem to find the video's source - so we don't know if it's official or not - it's still pretty damn amazing. Check it out!
Directed by David Fincher, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo tells the story of a disgraced Swedish journalist named Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) who is hired by a wealthy, aging industrialist (Christopher Plummer) to solve a 40-year-old-murder. Bringing in a goth, anti-social assistant named Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara), Blomkvist begins his investigation, but what he discovers is more terrifying than he could have dreamed.
The film will arrive in theaters on December 21st. To learn more and get more from the movie, including news, posters, images and trailers, be sure to head over to our Blend Film Database.
