Check Out This Footage Of An Absurd Street Drift

An overwhelming majority of the time drivers do reckless things on the road, it’s extremely frustrating for everyone else. After all, we all need to share a limited amount of space, and we all need to look out for each other to make sure something bad doesn’t happen. That being said, a small percentage of the time, a driver does someone so brazen and over-the-top outlandish that you can’t help but smile, especially when it happens in the middle of the night while no one is around.

The above video was recorded in the middle of the night and found its way online. It features someone spinning around a gigantic U turn in one of the most impressive displays of drifting I have ever seen. Because he never gets out of the car or gives us any kind of clue as to his (okay….possibly her) appearance, we have no way of knowing why the hell any of this happened. In fact, it’s also possible this was done on a closed course and was made to look like highway footage, but regardless, it’s pretty damn impressive, and it lives up to many of the all-time great driving videos like the Korean guy backing up, the fake Jeff Gordon test drive or the driver unloading 3 tons of bamboo.

So, whoever drifted his car around this turn, well played. If someone had gotten hurt, however, I'd definitely be calling for you to be in jail. I suppose those are the tradoffs for being a whacked out, modern day badass.
