Deion Sanders Says Estranged Wife Broke Into His Home And Attacked Him

A lot of divorces get heated and messy as they work their way through the legal system, but Deion Sanders’ split from his soon-to-be ex-wife Pilar is quickly spiraling into harmful and destructive territory. Police were called to the residence of the greatest cover cornerback of all-time today after an ugly domestic violence incident and possible break-in ended with Pilar in the hospital and Deion filing assault charges.

We’ve yet to hear from the soon-to-be ex-wife, but according to Deion, he was minding his own business with his children in their house when Pilar and an unidentified friend broke in and began “kicking”, biting and scratching” the former Cowboys’ player in full view of the kids. He told TMZ he defended himself against the surprise attack, and when the authorities arrived, Pilar asked to be taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

Since the incident, the commentator has taken to Twitter to “Thank God for (having a) platform to issue the Truth”. He also tweeted a photo of himself filing out a police report to formally press charges against Pilar. You can take a look at the shot below…

Since the divorce first went public, Pilar has claimed Deion tried to use money as leverage to extort sex, and he’s claimed she’s acted indecently and unfaithfully. I have no idea what prompted this latest incident, but the two need to try to work this shit out immediately. If they want to fight amongst themselves, that’s one thing, but going at it that hard in front of kids is never acceptable.
