Back in October, singer, actress, and fashion designer Jessica Simpson confirmed she was pregnant through one of the most bizarre forums Pop Blend has ever encountered: a skin tight, pregnancy showing mummy costume. Simpson, who is currently engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson, looks like she is about ready to pop. Which means it may be time to let the public know what gender the couple’s baby is going to be.
Simpson is set to adorn the April cover of Elle, in which she poses nude for the cameras and wears a rocking red dress on the cover, both to accentuate her baby bump. In the issue, Simpson also reveals she is going to have a baby girl!

Seriously though, the new baby will be Simpson’s first, and Pop Blend could not be happier for the singer and her upcoming hubby. It’s a good thing the child is going to be a girl, too. Whatever the case, with a new baby and a judging role on NBC’s Fashion Star, Simpson is going to have a busy year.
